Higher Education Technology Specialist

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Workday Student Instructor with expertise in higher education systems to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom-based training sessions effectively.
- Observe and document onsite processes accurately.
- Develop curricula and bridge knowledge gaps efficiently.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders successfully.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience:
- Prior experience with higher education ERP systems, preferably Colleague or similar student information systems.
- Familiarity with Workday Student is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong documentation, curriculum development, and instructional skills are essential.
- A plus would be knowledge of TexasConnection and related higher education standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to bridge gaps between legacy systems (e.g., Colleague) and Workday is crucial.
- Observing, documenting, and translating complex processes into simplified training materials is vital.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including IT, faculty, and external consultants, are necessary.
Work Environment and Compensation
- Initial onsite presence required for process observation and relationship-building.
- Availability to lead and facilitate training sessions on a rotating schedule (Tuesday–Thursday) across multiple campuses.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
