At Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling, we're dedicated to providing top-notch service to our customers. As an HVAC Service Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our team delivers exceptional results.

**Job Responsibilities**

* Manage and develop the HVAC service staff, including hiring, terminating, and disciplining employees, scheduling, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to optimize production.

* Coordinate activities of the maintenance, service, and indoor air quality departments to enhance operational efficiency, utilizing system-generated and locally produced reports to monitor field performance and identify areas for improvement.

* Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Collaborate with the general manager on creating and managing the budget.

* Generate reports and measures of departmental operations, as well as records on all inventory, tools, and vehicles.

* Review reports with management.

* Instruct crews on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.

* Review payroll records to ensure technicians are paid properly.

* Communicate with dispatchers to ensure appropriate technicians for types of service.

* Evaluate staff to determine training requirements.

* Ensure company vehicles are properly stocked, defective warranty parts are returned to the branch, and vehicle standard stock is ordered and replenished as needed.

**Requirements**

* Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.

* Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.

* Must be able to climb and work on ladders.

* Must be able to use hand and power tools.

* High school diploma or GED required.

* 3+ years management experience.

* Working knowledge of HVAC required.

* Valid driver's license required.

* Strong supervisory experience, communication, and computer skills required.

* Ability to work after regular business hours as needed.
