About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Waystar. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads to achieve sales objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including account management and customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform sales strategies and optimize performance
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-bearing role
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce CRM software
