Job Overview:

Berklee College of Music is seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Regional Leader to join our team. As a key member of the admissions department, you will be responsible for leading a regional team in targeted enrollment objectives, counseling prospective students, and implementing recruitment initiatives.

About the Role:

This role requires expertise on all programs available to prospective students, including Berklee Online, Coursera, EdEx, Summer Programs, City Music, and more. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Admissions and other regional teams to achieve recruitment goals. Your strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a regional team in achieving targeted enrollment objectivesCounsel prospective students through on-campus and off-campus activitiesImplement recruitment initiatives that support the Comprehensive Enrollment StrategyCollaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, and student ambassadors to coordinate effective communications and follow-up with prospective studentsServe as a liaison with external partnerships established to strengthen the college's recruitment effortsMaintain familiarity with application, scholarship, financial aid, housing, and Board of Admission processesConduct one-on-one admissions interviews with applicants and issue recommendations for admissionRepresent the college at various on and off-campus recruitment events

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three to five years of experience in college admissions/recruitment, sales, and customer service
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong commitment to prospective student servicing
  • Specialized skills and experience in broad and Berklee-specific student experiences, Berklee programs, and related career options
  • Strong musical background, understanding of music business industry, and music theory knowledge
  • Familiarity with current technologies such as MS Suite, Keynote, Filemaker, Salesforce, and social networking platforms

Benefits:
