Job Overview

Parker Aerospace is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician Senior to join our team in Simi Valley, CA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining utilities and process equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates assigned work projects, including materials and staff resources needed to perform the work
  • Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security, identifying and reporting hazardous conditions
  • Provides recommendations for contracted services and oversees the work of contracted services to ensure compliance with service agreement and work quality consistent with standards and expectations
  • Conducts electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits, motors, control equipment, light fixtures, and panels

Requirements:

  • CA Electrical License
  • At least 5 years of commercial/industrial experience in the electrical trade
  • Basic computer skills to maintain site reports, spreadsheets, preventative maintenance logs, and operate within a computerized maintenance work order system
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and compressed gas
