Position Overview

National Spine and Pain Centers is in search of a Per Diem Operating Room Technician to become a vital part of our dedicated team at our surgical facility.

Work Schedule:
  • As needed every Wednesday and two Mondays each month
  • Daytime hours with flexible scheduling
  • Experience in pain management is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the surgeon during operations with exceptional efficiency, anticipating the needs of both the surgeon and the patient throughout the procedure.
  • Ensure that all necessary supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for scheduled surgeries and assist in maintaining a sterile environment during case preparation.
  • Utilize surgical preference cards to prepare for each operation, making updates as necessary.
  • Assist in positioning patients, preparing the skin, and draping for surgery.
  • Conduct accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments as required.
