Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of infection control and quality in the processing and sterilization of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, clean, process, assemble, inspect, sterilize, store, and distribute medical devices and supplies used in patient care.
- Maintain infection control and quality standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- GE Processing Technician certification or equivalent experience preferred.
