Position Overview

The role of the Senior Construction Project Coordinator is crucial in ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders. This position involves:

  • Acting as the primary liaison by establishing and nurturing relationships with subcontractors and joint venture partners, ensuring their expectations regarding project outcomes are met.
  • Facilitating discussions with subcontractors concerning timelines, project execution, quality assurance, safety protocols, and material management, while also participating in weekly update meetings.
  • Providing regular updates on project status and performance metrics to management, project sponsors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining an updated list of local, state, and county permit contacts, along with fostering relationships with inspectors.
  • Overseeing the planning, monitoring, and control of project execution throughout all phases, including bidding, contract awarding, design, procurement, construction, and project closeout.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership capacity within construction management, project management, project controls, or field engineering.
  2. At least five years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
  3. Proficiency in essential project management tools and software, including but not limited to 3GIS, SharePoint, and the complete suite of MS Office applications necessary for project compliance.

This position is primarily remote, with the expectation of occasional onsite visits as required by project needs.
