As an Automation Service Technician, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to supporting advanced laboratory operations.
Your role will involve working with a diverse range of laboratory instruments, including automated liquid handling systems, where you will oversee installations, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations, maintenance, repairs, and validations to maintain optimal instrument performance and reliability.
- Track instrument performance metrics and promote serviceability within interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure instrument reliability and that service documentation complies with quality management standards.
- Analyze equipment performance data to recommend long-term improvements as required.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and share knowledge by creating standard operating procedures, checklists, and service updates.
- Assist in the oversight of a comprehensive maintenance and calibration program.
- Support end-users in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Deliver service and assistance during standard business hours, as well as outside of regular hours when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with external service providers.
