Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of E-commerce and Digital Merchandising to join our team at Forever 21. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to drive our digital business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a holistic merchandising strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on optimizing product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive online sales and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing merchandising team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and performance metrics to assess and refine merchandising strategies, ensuring data-driven decisions that enhance the customer journey and increase conversion rates.
  • Champion the customer experience by implementing best-in-class merchandising practices, including effective product categorization, cross-selling, upselling, AI and personalized recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, supply chain, and IT, to ensure seamless execution of merchandising initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in our merchandising approach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business management. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful online merchandising strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and web analytics tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and merchandising software.
