Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional drink experiences to our guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere that inspires repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and specialty drinks.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including utensils, equipment, and service areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by describing menu items, suggesting products, and answering questions.
  • Inventory Management: Order, receive, and stock supplies and retail products.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Process customer payments using a POS system.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, and bagels.
  • Signage and Display: Create signage to advertise store products or events.
  • Equipment Operation: Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform tasks such as taking out garbage and maintaining a clean store environment.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service abilities and a positive attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Able to use a POS system and operate retail equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to take direction, delegate responsibilities, and work effectively in a team.
