Position Overview:

At Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC, our dedicated Baristas are committed to delivering exceptional beverage experiences that leave a lasting impression on our guests. As a vital member of the Food and Beverage team, you will play a key role in fostering an inviting atmosphere that encourages both guests and staff to return. The successful execution, promotion, and ongoing assessment of our offerings, along with the training provided, are essential to our mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Craft and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and specialty items, as well as light menu offerings like sandwiches and salads.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment, ensuring a tidy service and seating environment.
  • Monitor and verify the temperatures of refrigeration and heating equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Articulate menu offerings to customers and recommend products that may suit their preferences.
  • Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies and retail items.
  • Provide detailed information to customers regarding product offerings, including coffee blends and preparation methods.
  • Serve baked goods and light snacks, such as muffins, biscotti, or bagels.
  • Process customer orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
  • Handle customer transactions accurately using a POS system.
  • Weigh, grind, and package coffee beans for customer purchases.
  • Label and date food items for sale to ensure freshness.
  • Create promotional signage to highlight store products or events.
  • Demonstrate the operation of retail equipment, including espresso machines.
  • Set up and replenish product displays to enhance visibility.
  • Prepare fruits, vegetables, desserts, or meats for food service.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately to maintain a clean environment.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using POS systems.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Capable of following directions and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, demonstrating efficiency and poise.
