About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, providing specialized care and treatment to help them recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to patients, adapting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas
  • ASHA certification or eligibility for certification
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification
