Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the laboratory department, assisting in the operations of the laboratory and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain inventory of materials and equipment, and coordinate preparation and procurement of chemicals, reagents, stains, and solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory practices and perform work at a level to meet Joint Commission, COLA, CLIA, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, Quality Improvement, and EPA Water Testing Standards.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory knowledge and skills, and participate in ongoing training and education.
  • Provide patient care that promotes safety and well-being, and support the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and mission.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related scientific field, with a demonstrated internship in an approved clinical laboratory training program.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Flexibility to work in a culturally diverse environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to pass a DOS background check and maintain a valid passport.
