International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the operations of our laboratory department, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties
- Demonstrate proficiency with hospital and departmental practices that reflect Joint Commission, COLA, CLIA, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, Quality Improvement, and EPA Water Testing Standards
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of patient information
- Perform quality control procedures, ensuring validity and accuracy of test results
- Coordinate and participate in the performance and interpretation of complex technical duties in support of medical laboratory testing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related scientific field
- Experience in a laboratory setting, with a demonstrated internship in an approved clinical laboratory training program
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Considerable knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminology
- Competitive hourly rate: $37.37-$38.41
