The successful candidate will focus on the management and support of IT infrastructure, which encompasses desktop applications, telecommunication systems, networking, business applications, third-party services, and hardware. A thorough understanding of the current technology landscape is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support for software and hardware issues reported by team members.
  • Respond promptly to technical inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Install and configure new software and hardware on user devices and servers, coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
  • Set up new users in Active Directory, Office 365, and other business systems.
  • Oversee mobile device management, including provisioning and support.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and applications to provide superior support.
  • Assist in the installation of workstations and printers within the network.
  • Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Communicate relevant updates and information to management.
  • Engage in various projects, training, and support activities as required.
  • Contribute to Glengate initiatives and assist colleagues in their tasks.
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Participate in additional departmental functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Microsoft Windows support environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles and practices.
  • Proficient in systems administration and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows servers and workstations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
  • Ability to produce quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and accountability for work.
  • Technical certifications and familiarity with network switches and firewalls are advantageous.
  • Experience with Office 365 cloud technologies is a plus.

Note: This role may require evening and weekend work based on business needs.
