Compensation and Benefits

Depending on experience, education, and ASE Certification, a Technician can earn between $75,000 and $100,000 per year. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including top-of-the-line medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan with a company match, and profit sharing.

Work Schedule and Expectations

We work Monday – Friday from 7:45AM – 5:30PM with up to a 1-hour lunch. Our employees' weekends are free to spend time with family and friends, as we are not open on weekends.

Job Responsibilities

As a Technician at Lincoln Repair, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying mechanical problems using visual inspection or computer diagnostic equipment.
  • Performing tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function.
  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
  • Repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts and systems.
  • Performing further tests to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by our auto insurance.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
  • Excellent mechanical repair skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Ability to read service and repair manuals.
  • Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
Education and Experience

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer ASE Certification A1 through A8. Three to five years of related experience is also preferred.

Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Inspect vehicles to determine repairs needed.
  • Have good vision to inspect repair work.
  • Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
