Wind Turbine Technician III

NextEra Energy, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Wind Field Service Technician III to join our team. As a Wind Field Service Technician III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and optimal performance of our wind farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair activities on wind turbine generators
• Conduct precision measurement, generator alignment, bearing replacement, and torque checks
• Travel extensively within the company fleet to perform field-based equipment maintenance and diagnostics
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement operation-focused feedback and solutions for planned and unplanned maintenance
• Present a positive professional representation of NextEra Energy in the community and with customers

Requirements:

• High School Grad / GED
• 0+ years of experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree
