Safety Professional 1

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and training.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with General Contractors and owners to ensure site conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in meetings with customers, project teams, and contractors to advise on project-specific mitigation plans, safety training programs, and technical reports.
- Develop and implement Site-Specific Accident Prevention Programs and training plans to meet project safety plan specifications and requirements.
- Assist with site safety budgets, safe work permits, and compliance with project contracts, plans, and specifications.
- Lead the Operational Risk Management team in reviewing, interpreting, and developing project safety plans based on project, client, and contractor specifications, design drawings, regulations, and existing safety systems.
- Conduct incident and investigation reporting, and maintain knowledge of safety and health standards, rules, and regulations.
- 6-8 years of experience with a high school diploma, or 4-6 years with an associate's degree, or 0-2 years with a bachelor's degree.
- Experience conducting safety training, regulatory compliance, and knowledge of safety management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint.
- Willingness to pursue certifications such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
