Job Overview

The Withdrawal Management Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team who prioritizes client safety. The LVN will provide detox-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. They are responsible for providing safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care. The LVN works collaboratively with the larger nursing and medical team on-site in the provision of MAT therapies.

The Withdrawal Management LVN will:

  • Maintain confidentiality of patients' medical and personal information.
  • Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about detox protocols and recovery resources.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.

• One year of experience in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred.

• CPR Certified.

• Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
