Job Overview

Position Summary

The Student Enrollment and Data Team is dedicated to ensuring that educational institutions are fully populated, allowing learners to shape their futures and contribute positively to their communities.

This team advances this mission through strategies for application acquisition, family onboarding, nurturing relationships, and ensuring student retention.

The Chief of Student Enrollment is tasked with crafting and executing strategic initiatives aimed at attracting potential students and their families to our educational institution.

This position will collaborate closely with the Enrollment, Marketing, and School Operations teams, as well as school leadership. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with substantial experience in recruitment, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a profound understanding of the K-12 educational sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with the institution's mission, vision, and enrollment objectives.
  • Assess regional recruitment plans to analyze application acquisition efforts and their return on investment.
  • Organize and oversee recruitment events, including educational fairs, open houses, informational sessions, and community outreach programs.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and educational partners to broaden recruitment networks.
  • Enhance community awareness through grassroots outreach initiatives, including door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood engagement.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with necessary materials, promotional items, and resources for effective field recruitment.

Team Leadership
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Foster a strong and diverse team culture that highlights each member's strengths and inspires action.
  • Guide and develop team members towards excellence in their roles while focusing on their long-term growth.
  • Provide real-time feedback to managers and recruiters operating in the field.
  • Establish a regular schedule for collaboration, training, and support for the team.
  • Monitor the execution of team responsibilities to promote operational excellence.

Data Management and Analysis
  • Define metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of student acquisition and experiences.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess and measure the success of recruitment initiatives.
  • Compile regular reports on student persistence, trends, and forecasts for senior leadership, school board members, and other stakeholders.
