About the Role

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and alignment of sales attainment with commissions payments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compensation and commission analysis, with experience in using Xactly Incent Sales Compensation tool. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting existing processes, identifying and implementing process improvements, reconciling commissions in Xactly Incent, and providing commissions analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and validate monthly commission payments for sales employees based on Sales Compensation plan provisions.
  • Assist in configuring sales incentive plans in Xactly Incent and modeling in Excel.
  • Update and maintain monthly reporting packets for leadership for monthly commission review meeting.
  • Maintain records related to sales teams' compensation plans, quotas, territories, and other necessary information for configuring compensation systems.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure sales billings credits are reported accurately and timely each month to meet critical monthly commission accrual and payout deadlines.
  • Handle questions from the field on compensation calculations and completeness.
  • Build and maintain standardized and ad hoc reporting related to billings and commission data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a background in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of four to six (4-6) years of experience with commission calculation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of monthly compensation and commissions cycles and deadlines.
  • Extensive experience administering plans in Xactly Incent or other sales compensation tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently work through large Excel files.
  • High degree of computer literacy and skills in specialized software related to department operations, including ERP accounting systems, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to make presentations, and respond to inquiries by senior management and/or employees.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing work priorities and meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to act and operate independently and as part of a team with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives.
