The ideal candidate will develop familiarity with our regular patrons and guide guests through our curated cocktail offerings with insightful suggestions and encouragement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional and high-quality craft beverages to patrons.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming and engaging with guests, fostering a friendly atmosphere.
  • Commit to ongoing training and education about the beverage industry.
  • Maintain the bar area by:
    • Keeping the workspace tidy and organized throughout shifts.
    • Preparing garnishes and other bar essentials before service.
    • Presenting glasses and liquor attractively.
    • Verifying that all customers meet legal drinking age requirements.
    • Exercising sound judgment to refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive individuals when necessary.
    • Addressing issues promptly and effectively, escalating to the Head Bartender or Bar Manager as needed.
    • Managing inventory orders and creating requisition forms for bar supplies.
    • Holding TIPS Certification in Safe Service of Alcohol - SERVSafe.
    • Adhering to all health and sanitation standards, along with safety protocols.
    • Possessing the ability to open and close the bar while ensuring guest safety.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of drink preparation and service, including classic cocktails.
  • Strong understanding of spirits, beer, and wine, with a particular emphasis on tequila and mezcal.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure when interacting with challenging patrons.
  • Willingness to learn and operate cash register systems.
Education and Experience:
  • Preferred completion of mixology, bartending, or related training programs.
  • Advanced bartending skills and competencies.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the field.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while preparing beverages.
  • Capacity to fulfill orders quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques to avoid injury.
  • Must be of legal drinking age or older.
