Job Title: Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Specialist

Forestdale Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work with families who are experiencing circumstances that threaten the safety and well-being of their children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit families in their homes, communities, or at the agency to provide support and guidance.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling as needed.
  • Advocate for clients to secure services such as public assistance, health insurance, and immigration issues.
  • Maintain contact with workers at the Administration for Children's Services and other service providers.
  • Document all case activity using the systems of record - N.Y.S. Connections and the N.Y.C. PROMIS.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in case management, counseling, and advocacy services.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Bi-lingual ability preferred.

Salary Range:

Bachelors - $26.37/hr - $28.57/hr

Bachelors (Bilingual) - $27.47/hr - $29.67/hr

Masters - $28.02/hr - $31.59/hr

Masters (Bilingual) - $29.12/hr - $32.69/hr

Masters (Bilingual & License) $31.32/hr - $35.43/hr
