- Develop and facilitate community outreach programs to promote the health and well-being of children in our community.
- Plan and coordinate treatment interventions with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Recommend continued service or aftercare for patients upon discharge.
We are seeking a certified Child Life Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life, or a related field. Certification by the Child Life Certifying Commission is required within 12 months of hire. No prior experience is necessary, but a strong passion for working with children and families is essential.
BenefitsAs a UNC Health Care employee, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $20.88 - $30.02 per hour, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule, working 30 hours per week.
