Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Analyst to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a key member of our ITS Customer Experience and Engagement team, you will provide exceptional technical support to faculty, staff, and students, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for a variety of applications and services, including Lenovo/Mac CCI hardware, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS operating systems, and Microsoft Office Professional.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer technical problems in collaboration with Service Desk colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with users via phone, web, email, chat, walk-up, and social media channels.
  • Work closely with specialized Help Desks provided by different departments and schools on campus.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology, computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of supported applications.
  • Customer relationship tracking system experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Telephone technical support experience.
  • Academic environment experience.
  • Team Dynamix experience.
  • Microsoft Office, Exchange, Windows, and Apple Products and Operating Systems experience.
