Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and drive hardware projects through their life cycle, from requirements generation to testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment, be hands-on, and contribute to the development of our electromagnetic launch system.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement electrical engineering solutions for our electromagnetic launch system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, manufacture, and test launch vehicle components
- Design and implement high-voltage systems and electric motor control systems
- Work with 3D CAD software and Altium Designer to develop and refine designs
- Contribute to the development of FPGA programming and electric motor control systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 9+ months of applied engineering experience, including internships, laboratory, or personal/team project experience
- Comfortable working with high-voltages (greater than 10kV)
- Strong comprehension of design fundamentals and 3D CAD software
- Experience with Altium Designer and electric motor control systems
- 5+ years of applied electrical engineering experience
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
