Position Overview:

Customer Engagement Specialists collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest suitable solutions.

They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues, ensuring optimal client satisfaction, and staying informed about product features while upholding the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.

Customer Engagement Specialists aim to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers, which may include minors; manage access to cash, payment methods, electronic devices, personal information, store inventory, and other valuable items, with supervision as necessary.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and product formulas.
  • Prepare and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure store displays are stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures and suggest improvements for sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding Spanish is a plus.
