We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Saxon Global. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our Infrastructure and Application teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Automate System Administration Tasks: Utilize scripting tools such as Python or shell to automate system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitoring and Automation: Implement monitoring and automation tools to analyze real-time issues and improve system performance.
- System Administration: Provide system administration support for Linux (CentOS, etc.) and Windows Server environments.
- DevOps Tools and Environments: Proficiently use DevOps tools and environments like TeamCity/Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Monitoring Implementations and Administration: Design and implement monitoring systems and administer existing ones to ensure optimal system performance.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Collaborate with technical staff to resolve technical issues and escalations.
- Automated Detection and Resolution: Work to automate detection and resolution of recurring issues in the production environment.
- 5-7 Years of Production Support Experience
- Experience with Tomcat, Git, Splunk, Jenkins, and TeamCity
- Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
- Experience with Shell Scripting
- Experience with Maintaining Monitoring and Alert Systems
- Experience Troubleshooting Relational Databases and Distributed Platforms
