What You'll Do

As a Reliability Engineer II at Abbott's Diabetes Care division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) medical devices and readers. You will contribute to the overall success and safety of our products by conducting root cause analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and preparing detailed technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis on CGM devices and readers to identify and mitigate potential reliability issues.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to improve product reliability.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation related to reliability testing and analysis.
  • Provide support for low-to-mid level projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
