Job SummaryAs a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Smarter Health Medical Clinic, you will provide high-quality primary and preventive care services to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat various health conditions, educate patients on wellness and prevention, and promote overall health within our community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough health assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient needs.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions effectively.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- A current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the ANCC or AANP.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in primary and preventive care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- A competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
