Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional social work services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to patients and their families.
- Coordinate care across the continuum, ensuring seamless transitions from acute care to post-acute settings.
- Partner with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address medically related social and emotional needs.
- Advocate for patients and caregivers, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
- Master of Social Work degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- One year of full-time social work experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
- Must hold one of the following credentials issued by the state of Washington: Agency Affiliated Counselor, Licensed Social Work Associate - Advanced, Licensed Social Work Associate - Independent Clinical, Licensed Advanced Social Worker, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
