Prosthetic Device Assistant

This position is responsible for assisting in providing patient care, ordering, stocking, shipping, and receiving, as well as exam room cleaning and documentation of service and repair of prosthetic devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, completing all required documentation.
- Obtain and document all pertinent information and necessary measurements required for fabrication processes.
- Order, track, and receive components and supplies.
- Repair and maintain prosthetic devices.
- Assist in patient rooms during fitting processes.
- Provide instruction to patients on the use and care of prostheses, accessories, and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience working in a medical office.
- Experience working as a medical or physical therapy assistant is preferred.
- Ability to travel as required.
This role operates in a lab and professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment and lab machinery. The employee frequently stands, walks, squats, bends, and uses hands to handle or feel objects. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
