The Customer Experience Representative serves as the primary contact for all patient billing inquiries, acting as a liaison between INTEGRIS and patients, providers, and payers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information regarding billing practices, policies, and patient billing statements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accepting inbound phone calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers, with the intent to resolve concerns immediately.
  • Collecting patient payments and following levels of authority for posting adjustments, refunds, and contractual allowances.
  • Documenting all patient account activities concisely, including future steps needed for resolution.
  • Performing filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned.
  • Responding promptly to patient inquiries regarding billing procedures, policies, and statements.
  • Utilizing multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone or preparing/reviewing billing correspondence.

This role requires 1 year of work experience in a call-center or dialer environment, or 1 year of experience in medical billing, medical collections, basic ICD10 and/or CPT coding. May consider successful completion of a related Career Tech program or 1 year of college coursework in a related field. Must be able to communicate effectively with others in English (verbal/written).
