Job Summary:

As a Quality Systems Manager at Gilead Sciences, you will be responsible for capturing and managing Quality Systems enhancements and integrations to various platforms, ensuring timely and effective implementation. You will create, organize, and maintain comprehensive QA project documentation and reporting, incorporating and coordinating Organizational Change Management strategies as needed. You will manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, measure QA project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and perform and assess risk management to minimize project risks. You will also monitor overall project portfolios within QA, review improvement ideas, track progress, and communicate project outcomes across the network. Additionally, you will guide junior QA staff, fostering a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality assurance systems to proactively apply knowledge to manage QA processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture and manage Quality Systems enhancements and integrations to various platforms

Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive QA project documentation and reporting

Incorporate and coordinate Organizational Change Management strategies

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Measure QA project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

Perform and assess risk management to minimize project risks

Monitor overall project portfolios within QA

Guide junior QA staff, fostering a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

6+ years of relevant industry experience and a BS or BA in a science-related degree

4+ years of relevant experience and a MS

Demonstrates knowledge in Quality Assurance principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards

Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written & oral communications skills

Familiarity with tools and practices for project management, stakeholder management, and results tracking

Ability to navigate ambiguous initiatives and decisively support the organization in crafting an actionable plan for the deliverables

Strong sense of urgency to drive projects to completion

Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering a dynamic work culture founded on trust and having a proactive mindset

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $133,000 - $172,000

Discretionary annual bonus
