Compensation Range: $30 - $35 / Hour

Addison Group is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist for a temporary to permanent position. The selected candidate will ensure the precise and timely execution of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll-related communications, including audit inquiries and timely reporting.
- Administer timekeeping policies and procedures, including both electronic and manual timesheet calculations and approvals.
- Address payroll discrepancies and assist with tracking Paid Time Off (PTO) and benefits.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records and documentation.
- Exhibit strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Process semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring the accuracy of all data prior to submission for all company entities, including garnishments and levies.
- Establish robust controls and procedures to guarantee accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Manage relationships with Payroll Service Providers to facilitate the implementation of requested changes and enhancements.
- Assist with year-end payroll closing activities.
- Possess knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations impacting payroll processing.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience required.
· Experience processing payroll for multiple companies with a solid understanding of payroll best practices.
· Familiarity with UKG, UltiPro, or Kronos preferred, along with strong reporting capabilities.
· Proficient in Excel, including VLookUp and Pivot Tables.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
