Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Claims Management Specialist, a pivotal role within our organization. This position is centered on the initial intake, lead generation, and coordination of activities related to mitigation and reconstruction services. The role encompasses a variety of administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication between various departments and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls, addressing initial inquiries and generating leads.
  • Input lead information into the DASH system, documenting customer details, job specifics, loss descriptions, special instructions, and affected areas.
  • Engage with external parties to accurately record insurance information.
  • Allocate leads to appropriate stakeholders and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate assignments for Estimators and manage post-Performance Authorization uploads.
  • Oversee compliance tasks, including contact and inspection scheduling.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Estimators for lead conversion, inspection scheduling, and executing Performance Authorizations.
  • Assist with billing processes, including invoice distribution.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on progress and estimation procedures.
  • Create and manage Dash Notes for internal communication regarding lead status and job assignments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or administrative position is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in DASH or comparable job management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of the insurance claims process is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to communicate verbally, listen, and use a keyboard.
  • Perform standard office tasks, including prolonged sitting, computer entry, filing, and lifting office supplies.
