Key Responsibilities
  • Credentialing Process Management: Oversee the credentialing process for our clinicians, including drafting and submitting applications, communicating with insurance companies, and negotiating reimbursement rates.
  • Insurance Company Liaison: Establish and maintain relationships with insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credentialing applications, insurance company interactions, and reimbursement rates.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Collaborate with clinicians, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve billing inconsistencies and ensure timely payment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Some college or trade school education in a relevant field, with certification in Medical Billing Services and/or Medical Coding.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in medical credentialing, with a strong understanding of insurance company requirements and procedures.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
