Job Summary

Plymouth Court SNF, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Contribute to the care planning process by providing information and observations about residents' needs and preferences.
  • Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing residents, and collecting specimens.
  • Assist with new admissions, re-admissions, and transfers of residents to different rooms within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment, reporting any hazardous conditions or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or completion of a Michigan-approved CNA training program and eligibility to test.
  • One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or healthcare desired.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
  • Verbal communication skills and dependability.
  • Ability to maintain a safe environment for residents and coworkers.
