Job Summary:

Roadrunner is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive for LTL Sales to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory growth strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement territory growth strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed service levels
  • Conduct daily travel throughout assigned territory to meet with customers and negotiate pricing
  • Maintain contact with key accounts and new customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor customer trends and operating performance, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to proactively communicate with service center personnel and customers
  • Achieve territory sales targets, including revenue growth, operating performance, and key activity metrics
  • Ensure all key customer information is captured in CRM tool
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience
  • 2+ years in B2B sales or equivalent
  • Competitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to win
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM system
  • Local travel 80% with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
