Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Civil Site Work Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all phases of civil site work projects from initiation to completion. Your focus will be on ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position demands a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, strong leadership skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
As a Civil Site Work Project Manager, your duties will include:
1. Monitoring all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
2. Coordinating and supervising construction teams and subcontractors.
3. Reviewing daily work progress and addressing any issues that arise.
4. Proactively planning to mitigate potential problems and resolving any issues that emerge.
5. Managing all project activities to ensure timely progress and adherence to budget constraints.
6. Developing detailed project plans to monitor progress effectively.
7. Conducting risk management to minimize project-related risks.
8. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and third-party contractors.
9. Creating and maintaining thorough project documentation.
10. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Civil Site Work Project Manager position, candidates should possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in managing civil site work projects.
3. Proven track record in construction management with successful project completions.
4. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methodologies.
5. In-depth understanding of building materials, construction details, and relevant regulations and standards.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of the construction process.
7. Proficiency in conflict resolution and crisis management.
8. Strong project management and time management skills.
9. Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
