This position is for a Senior RF Engineer within the IWSS Sensors and Effectors Integrated Engineering organization at Lockheed Martin.
Key Responsibilities
Your Contributions:
- Engage in technical strategy, system evolution, design processes, requirements distribution, detailed trade studies, validation and verification, cost analysis, risk assessment, and manufacturability considerations.
- Assist in high-level architecture design, mission strategy, requirements breakdown, and traceability. Spearhead the development and refinement of RF designs throughout the entire program lifecycle.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and suppliers of various subsystem technologies. Provide RF manufacturing assistance, including assembly and testing processes.
- Create work instructions and manufacturing support documentation, focusing on design for manufacturability. Conduct cascade analysis, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and testing of various RF subsystems, circuits, and components.
- Develop and oversee RF systems engineering program plans concerning cost and scheduling, functioning as an independent RF Hardware Design Engineer capable of leading teams of RF engineers and devising effective solutions.
- Facilitate communication with interdisciplinary teams, cross-business areas, and clients to effectively convey project status and outcomes. Address complex technical challenges associated with specific initiatives.
