Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Project Manager for utility coordination and engineering initiatives.
- Oversee Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects and ensure effective utility coordination.
- Review and prepare existing SUE utility plans with a focus on quality assurance and control.
- Conduct meetings, prepare agreements, and review design plans and specifications.
- Design and assess utility relocation plans in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in interpreting TXDOT's Utility Accommodation Rules and related manuals.
- Experience in utility relocation planning and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE).
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and MS Office; familiarity with Geopak is advantageous.
- Strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Capability to mentor and lead junior engineering staff.
