Job Title: Project Engineer

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) is a leading consulting firm offering planning, engineering, and program management services. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing projects from development to execution, including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Coordinate the work of engineers, designers, and sub-consultants to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, attending meetings and communicating project progress.
  • Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering documents and reports.
  • Responsible for project team quality system tasks, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control guidelines.
  • Visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure project completion.
  • Prepare and submit relocation, acquisition, and/or condemnation papers with client staff, property owners, and title companies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 8+ years' experience in the field or a related area.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of public works project life cycles, from development through construction.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas, or able to gain reciprocity within 6 months of employment.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
