Software Development Manager, Connect Flows

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team in developing and launching new features for Amazon Connect, a highly disruptive cloud-based contact center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting new systems, leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services, and partnering with product management teams to collect requirements and describe software product features.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of new features and services for Amazon Connect, leveraging AWS technologies and open-source solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and implement engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.

Requirements- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers.
