We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Wheeling Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, providing patient care, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning, contrast administration, and radiation safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, including scanners, X-ray machines, and fluoroscopy units.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- West Virginia State licensure in Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Radiology Technologist will work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
