We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and associated patient care in accordance with the Radiology Department mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Rotates in all Diagnostic areas for development of technical skills.
- Performs image procedures based on assessment of the status of the patient, request of the service, and imaging protocols.
- Produces images of optimal quality by using imaging equipment and systems in the provision of image delivery and archiving.
- Select exposure factors based on patient's size, condition, and pathology resulting in optimal image quality, utilizing minimal radiation exposure.
- Completion of an Accredited Radiography School.
- Must be registered (or registry eligible) by the ARRT in Radiography.
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

- Exposure to minimal radiation within the national standards of occupational guidelines.
- Exposure to airborne particles and bodily fluids.
