Position Overview:

Wells Fargo is looking for experienced Senior Fiduciary Specialists to join the Trust Account Opening and Maintenance team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. This dedicated team facilitates the account initiation process for Wells Fargo trust accounts and acts as a key escalation point for trust officers, financial advisors, and clients. Additionally, the team manages daily asset maintenance, ensures account governance, and adheres to compliance standards set by regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business partners on investment management matters.
  • Evaluate and establish agency, custody, IRA, and trust accounts to guarantee compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Identify and investigate issues across different jurisdictions.
  • Analyze complex business trust asset portfolios, addressing challenges that require thorough evaluation of various factors.
  • Review probate and trust estates following the passing of a Wells Fargo client.
  • Manage the unique requirements of estates and trusts during the death settlement process.
  • Resolve moderately complex trust asset portfolio challenges and guide the Fiduciary team to meet service delivery expectations.
  • Ensure management of probate estates or trust accounts aligns with governing documents, bank policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Engage and consult with colleagues and management to address issues and achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Fiduciary Products or a combination of relevant work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in Trust or Brokerage.
  • 2+ years of experience in new account opening or onboarding.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong skills in assessing stakeholder needs and developing effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
Work Expectations:
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site as required.
  • This position does not offer Visa sponsorship.
