We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Interstate Therapy Solutions. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to athletes and active individuals, helping them recover from injuries and achieve their performance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide coverage during practices and events at local high schools, ensuring the safety and well-being of athletes.
- Assess and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries in accordance with best practices and protocols.
- Develop and implement reconditioning programs to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration, and supervising physician, coordinating care and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited CAATE program.
- Current BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
- 1 year of experience in the high school or college setting preferred.
