The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for overseeing Golden Valley High School outreach programs, providing coverage during practices and events, and offering training room hours. Provide coverage during practices and events at local high schools, ensuring the safety and well-being of athletes.
- Develop and implement reconditioning programs to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration, and supervising physician, coordinating care and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited CAATE program.
- Status: Full-time
Pay: $32 - $41 per hour

Render first aid to injured players such as artificial respiration, cleaning and bandaging wounds, and applying heat and cold to promote healing
- Communicate with coaches, parents, clinical team, physician team and expanded healthcare team as needed
- Treat chronic minor injuries and related disabilities to maintain athletes’ performance

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training preferred.
